What is art? Or, more importantly, what has art become? Throughout history, art has been a means to explore and describe the mystery of life around us. It has been a triumph of determination to take a blank canvas and fill it with the work of our imagination. Art was about making something that allowed you to connect and share your most intimate thoughts with another person.

The second semester of the 2012-2013 school year brought many new things to Dartmouth High. The locking of the back doors was one of them. From 8:40 in the morning, until the end of the day, the back doors are locked, preventing strangers, and students, from entering.

It seems like every day there is a news report of somebody getting hit by a car or having an extremely close call. This would not be such a major issue if the pedestrian was in the wrong and not walking in the crosswalk at the time of these incidents.
